Try putting mayo (seriously) in your hair for like 15-20 minutes then shampoo twice.

tell the girl you know your hair situation, if she has a degree she should give you hair treatment for freeeeee

You have over worked your hair. It needs a rest as well as conditioners and a shampoo that are totally or almost totally organic to bring it back to the way it should be.Go to a health food store and ask some questions about the right kind of hair care that would work. it will. work.

Cut it off short (1-2 inches) and start from scratch. Once your hair is damaged there is no way to fix it. Mayo, hot oils and deep conditioners may glue the split ends back together temporarily or make it feel softer for a little bit, but they will not improve the damage long term. Nothing can. Take this as a lesson. We all go thru it. Your hair is best the way it is naturally.

I hate to say it, but it sounds like you've pretty severely damaged your hair as you probably know already. Honestly, there's not much you're going to be able to do at this point since there's no real permanent fix for damaged hair besides removing it. Silicone based products can helps smooth the follicle but this can actually damage the hair more in the long run.

I think your best bet is to keep up a good conditioning regime, and cut as much as the damaged hair off as you feel comfortable with. Begin taking a supplement like biotin, it will help your new growth be healthier and stronger so hopefully it will break less and you can begin to regrow a healthy head of hair faster.

Anyone who offers you a treatment that's a professional is just kidding themselves or lying to you. Organic, 100% inorganic or not.. the only solution in the long run is going to be to cut off your hair - just make sure you take care of what you have that's good from here on out.

I've had a similar experience. Honestly, the only thing you can do is leave your hair alone for a while. Minimize your heat styling, and don't dye it. If you ever do decide to do anything to your hair (when it gets healthier) make sure you get it done at a good salon. They only real way to rid your hair of damage is to cut it off.

OH NO~ Ive had %26amp; seen so many mistakes like this! I tell people all the time "you get what you pay for"...MORE OFTEN THAN NOT you will get your desired results going to a "Texture Specialist" or "Master Hair Artist" at a pricier salon, rather than whoever at a mom %26amp; pop shop for more than one reasons!

Thats too bad the girl diodnt know that you cannot perm chemically treated hair! or it will severly damage if IT DOENT CRACK OFF! SINCE it happened and there is no going back...you need to INTENSELY condition WITH PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS what you have left. Professional Products are a higher "grade" and will be FAR more effective than any over the counter conditioners at walmart or riteaid. Especially so, if your hair has no "shine" and just hangs there - and it does sound like its in poor conditon. ALSO let it airdry WHENEVER possible...wash every other day to preserve your natural oils, AND SERIOUSLY TRY TO AVOID heat! thats my reccomedation as a Paul Mitchell Trained Professional

Goodluck
