I was thinking about getting done but how bad is it for your hair? If you've had it done before..I would really appreciate you telling me how your hair turned out. =]
I have to straighten my hair everyday and I'm kinda tired of it. I have longer than shoulder length hair which is pretty thin. It tends to be straight up to my cheeks and then begins to curl/wave in random ways. I'm worried that because my hair is thin, it will get damaged easily.
If you could direct me in the way to go, it would be of big help to me!
Thank you for your time! :D
Permanant hair straightening?
First it depends on your type of hair. If your hair is fine, or color treated, you run the risk of burning it which will make it dry. If your hair is thick or brunette you would have a better chance of it looking nice. First, I would go to your local CVS, Duane Reade or whatever pharmacy chain you have and buy a deep conditioner such as Aussie 3 minute miracle and condition your hair for at least a week so that your hair is properly hydrated. Then you can do a test, they sell a product called "Easy Straight". There's two types, one that's supposed to last a week, and another for a month, neither will get your hair perfectly straight, but if done correctly, you will get an idea how it would look and it actually made my hair a bit nicer. I tried the week one. If you like the results, go to a salon that you trust and let themdo it professionally. good luck.

Permanant hair straightening?
ok. There is no such thing as PERMANENT straight hair. You could Relax your hair which should last three to six months. Down side... it fries your hair. I did it but i deep condition it every two weeks. It works though.
Permanant hair straightening?
My sister recently got it done and it looks great, however her ends needed to be cut because they ended up being dried out. Though she still has to straighten it it takes little effort. I think it really depends on your type of hair, but hers was really thick. It does look so much better now, but you are going to get it done the salon said you can't have bleached your hair I think within a year or two so I would check with your salon first so you know ahead of time. They also reccomend deep conditioning. Best of luck!
