I have long wavy hair....?

I have long, thick wavy hair down to my waist. I currently use a flat iron to give it a sleek, non- frizzy look.My hair has a LOT of volume and straightening also makes it look less "big". I don't like using the flat iron so often. Is there any product I can use to eliminate frizz and let my hair down to where I don't look like a crazy person. I am looking for something I can put in my hair when wet and let it air dry to accentuate the curls. I con't want it to be stiff...is there a certain kind of mousse, maybe? Please help :)

you may want to get a haircut. not to short of course, just like down to the middle part of your back. dont use gel unless u want ur hair to be stiff. try wrapping your hair around your finger to make it more controlled. do this until your whole head is wavy and realxed

I have very curly hair, I find nexxus mouse works really well. You should go to your local salon and ask about matrix hair care line for curly hair. They have shampoo,cond. and styling products that work great and smell amazing. But you're going to get that crunchy feeling no matter what unless you use pomade, and it's heavy and weaighs the hair down. But it leaves hair soft and pliable. OH, bed head makes a good product that doesn't leave hair crunchy, but it doesn't work for everyone. It's called creative genius.

i really doubt you need to do something about it. Long wavy hair is the sexiest. Add to that waist length, you almost make me fall in love with your hairs. Don't do anything.

I have long curly/wavy hair too and I straighten it most of the time, but when I just dont feel like spending time straightening I just put mousse in my hair and scrunch it up. I'm not too sure of a brand that wont make your hair stiff, I use tressemme and I like it. There are special shampoos out there for curly hair try one of them for the "less frizz" problem.

My hair is exactly the same. It's so thick and wavy that I have to take a shower the night before instead of blow-dry, so that I don't look like a clown with long hair. I use conditioner in the shower and then a spray or rub on leave in conditioner from the beauty salon. They are very expensive for the little bottles you get, but totally worth it. They keep my hair curly but not frizzy, slick and shiny but not sticky or heavy. My favorites are Kerasilk instant silk fluid by Goldwell--16.00, and Soi Tri-Wheat Leave in Conditioner by Healthy, Sexy Hair--12.00

I have long hair that has a TON of volume and is naturally wavy. I use John Frieda frizz ease serum in LIGHT and while my hair is still damp I run it all through my hair but not near the roots as it will make you look like a grease head. Then I take Paul Mitchell mousse and add it to ONLY the ends to control even more frizz. Then let it dry natural. Do not brush your hair. Use a big pick and NEVER pick out your hair while it is dry. If you do use one cup of water to 1/4 teaspoon of olive oil in a spray bottle and shake vigorously before srpaying on your hair to pick. This will reduce frizz but do follow with a mouse. Natrually curly hair is beautiful so let it show!
