If it's curly your going to need to straighten it then curl it. But if it's straight go to target and get a curling iron.

just wrap your hair around them like you would a roller and hold them in place with bobby pins

do it when your hair is damp, spritz some hair spray on them, take a blow dryer to them and dry them slowly, let them sit about a hour, take them out, fix the fly away strands and finish it off with a little more hairspray

Theres two ways I can think of- one, you can curl your hair with a curling iron w/ a wide barrel, then take a hair straightener and quickly run over any curls you feel should be looser. just make sure you use some sort of product for heat damage. this way sounds easier to me, but beware of damage!! two, you can try using a curling product that you either twist or scrunch in. however, it can be difficult to find the right product for your hair type. a lot of these products can make hair look and feel wet and/or greasy, and the ones that don't can be pricy. you could try drying one in with a hair dryer, but i can't say if that will work or not. Its up to you. hope i helped!!

How do you get big, loose curls?

How do you get big, loose curls?

OK - if your on a budget and want big curls this is what you should do -

do u have cardboard -then roll the cardboard in big rolls

or used finished loo roll middle bit

then mist your hair SO its damp

use a cheap branded curling mouse - tescos always have offers

run the mouse all over your hair and then with your fingers comb your hair - don't use a brush, set parting with your fingers.

next using several rolls that you have prepared roll the top layers of your hair around them - n pin them with hair grips only

the under layers i suggest u put it into small buns and put them in with pins

leave until dry or use hair dryer to make it quicker

spay hairspray let set 3mins

take your bottom buns and then the rest and just shake your hair a few times.

How do you get big, loose curls?

use a curling iron and just make big curls. or yo can use curlers, but that will take longer

How do you get big, loose curls?

You can make some of the most beautiful curls for almost nothing...

You will need 3 things , you probably already have...

1) Small silver hair clips ( you'll need a couple dozen) or they are $1.00 at your local drug store/beauty supply

2) some type of setting spray or mousse, which helps hold the curl...

3) A pointy-end comb or brush

Set everything up in front of a mirror

For MORE curl have the hair about 80% dry after a shower.

If starting from dry hair....spray the hair lightly with water...( the more water--the tighter the curl) depends on the texture of your hair as well.

I have a client that insists her hair won't hold curl and I recently did her hair for a huge party....after her shower I had her put in mousse... comb it thru......I lightly dried it to very lightly damp then proceeded with the below instructions , (she was thrilled).

TO CURL:

Just begin parting off little sections ( they do not have to be even or precise, the more uneven the better )...start with about a 2 inch square, comb thru with the comb...getting knots out...wind the hair around your fingers all the way up to the scalp in what they used to call "pin curl" fashion....and put one clip in the base of the curl. The curl itself will be a lot bigger than a "pincurl" as you are taking a bigger section.

Which will give you the "loose curl" you are looking for...

After doing this to the entire head of hair . . . .You 'can' %26gt; sit out in the sun... . . . . . or proceed getting ready ...applying make-up, getting dressed - - etc., every once in a while grab the dryer with a "diffuser" on the nozzle and apply some heat ( no diffuser? skip this step!)

When dry in about an hour or two.....

there are two ways to release the curls.....

IF you have frizzy hair . . . . you will need some silicone serum ( anything similar to Biosilk ) and coat your fingers with serum....unclip and release each curl individually coating each curl with a light coating of serum with fingers....

gives curls %26gt; shine %26amp; gloss %26amp; sparkle!

with all curls out, kind of set and comb thru WITH FINGERS, being careful not to comb thru too much or over play with....

(will cause the curls to drop)...

Spray the entire head with Shaper Hair Spray....a great all around hair spray.....or the hairspray you have on hand.
