I will be turning the big 30 this May, and was thinking about cutting my waist long hair. Do you think I will look older or younger with short hair?

Don't do it! keep it long until you are uncomfortable with it. There is no "age" at which you have to do it.. You'll regret it.

ummm well if its above shoulder it will make you look alot older and if you cut it belowyou shoulder it will make you look like 15yrs old.

My mother had long, long hair when I was younger. She cut hers when she was in her late 40s. What she did was cut it slowly. Every time she went, she got it a little shorter. That way she kind of got used to it by the time that she got it cut again. Now it's in a bob, but when I was little, it started out going to her butt.

They now take 6" for Locks of Love too. So If I were you, I would try that first. That way if you don't like it, you can let it grow back out fairly quickly. :]
