It seems all the big department stores are devoting 90% of their display exclusively to 9 types of L'Oreal and squeezing out the competitors since they only carry about 10 shades of their hair color. I used L'Oreal for Burnettes once and it damaged my hair severely. Is any of the L'Oreal hair coloring any good? I started coloring my hair to thicken it rather than damage it with perms. I started with a Garnier product that was designed to add highlights, which was pulled from the market. The product did not harm your hair. I want colors that appear natural rather than cartoon colors that cannot possibily occur in nature.

im not actually sure, sorry. Because there are so many good makes. If i were you, id just ask someone at a really good department store. It can depend also on the colour you're looking for. Some retailers make good dark hair dyes but awful blonde/red hair dyes. Ask a professional, and also ask what they think would suit you. Hope this helps!

I know that every hairstylist I have ever seen said that if you have to use an at-home color; L'Oreal Performing Preference is the best.

I like the Loreal Feria brand. It has natural highlights built in, and is fairly gentle on my hair. I have very thin, very fine, dry hair, and I have never had any problems. I use Auburn Brown and sometimes Chocolate Cherry.

i use nice and easy by clariol and i use others by her and they definutily last longer and the color i do is match the season but sticked to dark because i like it

Don't use store bought! They aren't good for your hair go to your local beauty supply and buy the color and mixing bowls yourself the color lasts a whole lot longer and the colors are alot better more to choose from.
