i jsut bought this sweater from holsiter yesterday i got it in grey... its really cute isnt it? ya n it was on sale for $18.90 which is amazin jsut it use 2 b like $50 n in canad its only on cleaence fro like $40..soo its a really good price.. my grandma innocently (when i got home) asked me what the material is made out of (thats jsut a grandma think 2 ask isnt it?) well i found out tis 55% cotton 35%vsicoe (or soemthin) And 15% RABBIT HAIR!!!!!!!!! eww did ne one else no that hollister makes stuff wiht rabbit hair!1 i wearin the sweater now but im sorta paranoid about the white things stickin out is that rabbit hair? n im allergic 2 wool would i b allergic 2 this?! ANDD my grandma said the blend like all the material 2gether so i cant b seeing pieces of rabbit heair they make it into one big mixture like cake batter is that tru???

OMG. I was just at Hollister Saturday with my bestfriend and her mom and we were at the clearence and her mom offered to buy us both something and we were at the table you were at. So after looking for a while and we found what we were looking for, we saw that it was 15% rabbit hair and she was like "ewwwwwww.... grooossssss" lol. but yeah. its nasty. I got this shirt in grey

idk if you'll be allergic but just to reassure you they have big rabbits and they shear them like sheep so i don't think its killing for fur!

Angora, rabbit hair, is used in a ton of clothes to make them softer. It's not just Hollister.

theres nothing wrong with rabbit fur.. i dont want to sound all spiritual or anything but the people up north use rabbit fur for alot of things and its good quality fur and keeps you warm

Many sweaters today are made with angora rabbit hair. It's one of the most popular sweater materials out there. And if you are allergic to wool you aren't necessarily allergic to angora, but if you start getting stuffy or have itchy eyes while wearing it, I'd reccommend not wearing it anymore. And yes, the materials (wool, cotton, vicrose, angora) are all woven together to blend into one soft material for the sweater. If the rabbit hair grosses you out, think of it like wool being sheared from a sheep. Rabbits are not killed for angora. The hair is either shaved or combed from the animal (falls out naturally).
