Hair straightening dilemma???

whenever i straighten my hair it looks really nice at the sides, but then at the back i cant do it properly so theres always a big bump. How can i stop this from happening and can anyone reccommend any good heat defence sprays? i am currently using Tresemme heat defence spray smooth as i have tresemme jade hair straighteners. What do u think of these 2 products? Also how much spray should i apply??? Thanx love 2 all xx

Hair straightening dilemma???

use the GHD spray from the website.. its really good!

Hair straightening dilemma???

use conditioners as said by the beautician.

dont wash ur hair under extreme cold or extreme hot conditions..,since this may spoil the straightness of the hair.

use only prefered shampoos rather using anything else for urgent sake!

Hair straightening dilemma???

I never use any specific product.

I straighten my hair in sections, I pull almost all of it up except for a small amount in the back. Then let a little more down until you are done.

If you are left with a bump, you are trying to straighten to large of a section at once. Make sure to bring the straightener as close to the roots as possible, and always angle the straightener down rather than outwards.

Hope this helps!

Hair straightening dilemma???

bend over forward with ur head upside down then straighten ur hair thats what i do so theyres no bump at the back cause i can never reach that far.

i've never tried the tresemme heat defence spray or the straighteners, i use ghds and john fredda heat frizz spray.

Hair straightening dilemma???

in my opinion you should use natural straightening method, it won't cause any hair damage, and it's really simple. Here's one: http://www.jurgita.com/articles-id12.htm...

Hair straightening dilemma???

I've found that Chi offers a great line of products specifically for straightened hair styles. Personally I didn't have a couple hundred to drop on the Chi brand straightener BUT the products are awsome! they make my Walmart bargain straightener smooth it all out. They have heat defense built in plus smoothers. Go to the salon and look for red metal bottles, all marked with CHI really big on them.

Hair straightening dilemma???

Yeah i know that sometimes happens to me aswell lol!:D

Like ashleytisdalefan said try the GHD hair serum/spray thing ive got that to and its really good.

What hairstraightner have you got? Try using hairdressing clips, (you can get them cheap) and clips parts of your back and it should keep it out of the way! and straighten your hair in little parts that should help!!!
