Going from Long Hair to Short Hair?

Hey

I have really long hair at the moment and its down to the bottom of my back.

I really want to change my hairstyle now, I am fed up with it, always have a ponytail, it gets knotted and messy because I can't be bothered to keep it nice.

All the other guys I know who went from long hair to short hair look better from it, and I think its the best option, but I really don't know what style would suit, as its such a big change! haha.

Could anyone offer any suggestions?

I think you have really pretty eyes. I think you should keep it just a little longer on the top to bring attention to those pretty eyes. I think you would look really good with the hairstyle that Leonardo DiCaprio had when he played Jack in Titantic. It is a short haircut but the length on the top and sides gives it more character.

I also suggest that you go to a salon that donates hair to Locks of Love. It is a charity that makes really nice wigs for children that have lost their hair because of different diseases. If you donate 10 inches or more hair, which you have since it is down your back, you get a free haircut.

Good luck with your haircut; I would like to see pictures when you get it cut.

Don't have all the length cut off. Just get it to a place that would be able to be easier to take care of. Even try a body perm to give it some body. Also the hair that you cut off please donate it to Locks for love for cancer patient wigs.

ok first you are a guy, and yes your hair should be short, for numerous reasons. for girls it's different because if we cut our hair about a month later we want back, then we go stick weave in it or buy longer hair wigs. Guys with long hair, will not be taken serious in the professional world of business. Maybe entertainment but nor business. My hair is long and want to cut , but i'm being wise not to cut. I'm a female, we go through stuff like this. you are a guy you shouldn't be going through stuff like this. cut your hair and if you don't like it grow it back.
